Talking Need better D'Link Router... Explained in details inside

    Hi Friends,

I’m a regular reader of Indian Broadband Forum but just now I’m a registered user.
Ok… Never the late. Actually I need some technical advice.
Before I jump into it let me tell the hardware details I have with me.

    1. Sony Bravia LED KDL-32EX520 (Connected to my home network via Ethernet cable form my WiFi Router)

    2. D’Link GLB-502T ADSL 2+ Router (Connected to my WiFi Router via Ethernet cable)

    3. D’Link DIR-615 WiFi Router

    4. Samsung Galaxy S2 Mobile

    Ok here is my problem…

There are some movies stored in my mobile. Using AllShare Samsung’s DLNA, I like to see the movies wirelessly (I believe it streams the video in WLAN if I'm right) in my TV… in the middle the movie gets interrupted and a text appears in the screen saying “Play back is not available”.

From my understanding I think… I need a better wireless router… if so please explain me the details… and recommend me a better D’link router.
    Thanks in advance.

    Checking details Samsung's DLNA.

Does your Sony Bravia LED KDL-32EX520 has an usb modelWlan card connected like this. ?

    Para two:

    2.
Your TV LAN connection to the router lan1 2 3 or 4 of DIR615 OK.

What ever data you access in broadband connection ( say BSNL surfing web sites video etc) can be seen in TV.
What ever is available in wifi mode can be seen in your Samsung Galaxy S2

Now Galaxy cannot radiate wifi to TV picked up from BSNL BB ~~~
or from folders /files stored in the smartphone ( Unless there is provision for Smartphone to WORK AS AN AP ( access point ) Any new software used ?.
For example: With DLNA you can select a video file on your computers library to be streamed to the TV. You will not be able to view your desktop or use the keyboard and mouse on the computer to affect the TV.

In addition to a Samsung TV, to take advantage of this capability you need:

A computer with Samsung PC Share Manager installed on it
    A home network
Media files that are supported by Share Manager on your PC.

    -or-

A mobile device with the Allshare feature (For example: Samsung Galaxy Phones, Samsung 10.1" Galaxy Tab, etc.)

In which case you can access data stored in Galaxy in ~~~ mode in your laptop too!

My post is only of a probing nature to get/give more details.

Because most users like "spoon feeding"
and expect perfect answer immediately in a forum, and members should be familiar with all kinds of TV/ Routers/ cellphones/ smartphones etc.

Try a Google search , which I did to make my post.
I don't have all the 4 units you specified !! My apologies.
Not satisfactory according to the high standards you expect from a general forum.

I know not everyone is a experts and own all the units, but atleast someone can try to answer or atleast try to understand what the problem is.... No one is even trying to understand the technology.

This has pre-empted any other suggestions , other than suggest a better Dlink wifi router. which you could easily do in Google search , for the specifications you have in mind.
Dir615 does not have WDS mode. confirm.
    http://support.dlink.com/emulators/d...?page=wds.html WDS mode.

Confirm Samsung GALAXY S2 can be bridged to above Dlink DWL2210AP.

    2
."K.I.S.S" or RTFM methods may give the solution !!!

    3.Problem:
To view the Movie files stored in your PHONE in the LCD TV
    working but stops midway.

Show the path. and units used. Want to check what part DlinkDIR615 wifi router is having in the process.

(a)BSNL BB==>>GLB50T==Dlink Dir615==>>> lan mode ==>> Bravia TV. or desktop

(b)Dlink wifi ~~~~ to Samsung Galaxy Phone S2 other laptops.
( No hands ! sorry no cables !)

    (c)
    Explain this process;
(b)Samsung Galaxy S2 ~~~ wifi to Bravia TV.
movies video===========>>.TV screen. in wireless mode.

    Problem stops at 50%
Include Dlink in the above setup

    Para two
I am keen to solve problems about which I start with "zero knowledge ". Because I research the subject, thanks to Google.
Earlier post was background information to me .
    Bsnl BB understood.
    Glb502t no problem
    Dlinkdir615 no problem
TV ( familiar with similar model and worked internet , and watched movies etc from dvr in wifi mode or HDMI cable/ Cable TV connection) forgot details.

    Para three;

Samsung Galaxy 2 cellphone with wifi internet capabilities.
    ( Not seen/not studied in detail ) .
    Allshare samsung dlna
May work as AP in wifi mode. laptop should pick internet content.

Feedback. ( Please use small quotes. in your response as above.)
