Thread: Problem with my messenger.

i have Digsby messenger installed.
I use for gtalk, icq.(simultenously)
from many days i see frequent disconnections on gtalk. i changed port from 5222 to 5223 but again same problem. checked ssl and non-ssl stuff, but didnt help..

can anyone please help me out??
also please suggest a good messenger with the answer.. thanks..

the problem seems to be resolved when i use either the direct ip of gtalk (saw on firewall) or i change my port to 143..

now please someone tell me if 143 is secure port...
