Default Problem using USB extension Cable with 3G Modem

I am using Huawei e1750 with BSNL 3G. I am having signal problem inside the room where my desktop is situated (almost no signal). Just outside the balcony window i get 4-5 bar signal (I checked with my laptop).
I tried using a 10 feet USB Extension Cable (actually 2 cables connected 5ft each)to hang my modem outside window. But my Modem is having problems . First it is not detected for a long time and when detected it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.
    Please help !!!!!

    Default E1750

BSNL 3G generally weak signal inside the house.
You can not combine cords for extension.
Buy a special usb extention card 5 metres length and hang the data card in the window.check signal enhancement antennae.
also sometimes try from another usb port if youhave more than one.
To rule out data card problems, get a Airtel/Voda fone sim, activate 3G and then put a small 3G pack and check how the data card connects from inside the same spot in the house.
You need not depend on Aircel software only.
You can download and use Mobile partner also to connect.

Thanks Tolkapiam for your reply .
    1) What do you mean by "USB extension card" ? .Do you mean to say that a 5 meter cable work better than two 5 ft. cables combined ? If so i'll try that .
    2) There is no external antenna port in e1750.
    3) I would prefer continue using BSNL (if possible) as it is much cheaper and data transfer rate is OK if one gets proper signal.
    4) I am already using Mobile connect.

    you have two options,

    1. Get a USB cable to attacle your Modem
    2. If your PC/Laptop is wifi enabled, get a 3G wifi router and keep it at a place where signal is strongest.
