Thread: How to connect bsnl 2g from mobile to laptop?

Hai, gdmng to all my frnds . This is my query: I have a NOKIA 7210 SUPERNOVA mbl and bsnl 2g sim with it. when i try to connect with data cable to my laptop using pc suite, the status shows that it is connected, but when i open browser there is no internet access. But i can able to browse the gprs in my mbl, but not in laptop. I tried to change lot many settings with different combinations but nothing worked.
Does anybody have any idea of such a prblm, if do pls tell me how should i connect it, pls help me......

Install Nokia pc suite on computer(came with your cd or download from here:- Nokia Europe - Compatibility & Download - Nokia PC Suite - Product support - Support)
Use connection manager of installed pc suite to recognise phone on pc.
Once driver is installed on pc, open connect to internet icon on the pc suite.
Click configurations> enter accesspoints settings. BSNL accesspoint is bsnlnet. mobile = *99#

Click connect..

It worked micky, thank u very much. I followed the same procedure u said and changed the operator from bsnl india to bsnl south india, and then connected it, and finally it worked.

Now you should open cmd.exe from start and type ping -t 8.8.8.8 and let it run, and your bsnl gprs wont disconnect

Oh i thought "BSNLNET" was the accesspoint all over India but whatsoever, you took out the correct way
