Connect to WAN port of WRT120N.
Select "Dynamic IP or auto dhcp
    other entries auto DNS.
    Enable DHCP.
Practically no additional entries in wrt 120N
    2
    Regular entries in wifi page.
    Check ssid appears in laptop.
    Log in as usual.
    3.
    TEST:
connect rj45 from Lan1 to desktop for ethernet connection.
    confirm getting connected to Internet.
    Feedback.

Hey....sorry for such a late feedback....was out of town.......
just tried what you told me to do.....but i could not connect to the internet....however.....i selected ''static ip'' and fed in the ip address and DNS server entries provided by my ISP.....and voila....i was connected......but the thing was.....there was still no wifi connection availabe.....my Ipod touch was showing the connection.....but could not connect to it.....i selected the ''WPA2-Personal'' settings from the security settings.....and also selected ''TKIP or AES''.......

I have one more query....can i feed in my username and password into the router....so that i dont hav to connect through my p.c.....i mean....wherein i get connected as soon i switch on the router.......currently i have made a connection through my network and sharing center.......i would be very usefull.......i will not have to turn on my desktop everytime i want to connect a laptop or my ipod.....

    thanx in advance

What kind of authentication system DEN has?
Through Windows Dialer or any web authentication system.
If it is based on windows dialer(PPPoE), there would be possibility to config your router under PPPoE mode which does not allow you login every time. You just need to turn router ON to have access.

If it is based on web authentication, you can not do anything in that. You need to request for auto login from DEN. It may charge you if they only offer public static IP.
