Default Not Able to connect my nokia n86 over wlan via teracom t2 Bsnl broadband

    Hi guys,
went through a lot of threads, but could not find a solution to my problem. So here i am starting a new thread.
    I have a Teracom(T2-A-Gawv1.4U10Y-BI) router & a BSNL broadband connection. There are 2 problems:
    1. I cant connect internet on my laptop nd my desktop simultaneously though i can use internet over wifi in my laptop individually(i.e when my Desktop is not connected)
    2. I am not able to browse net on my nokia n86 via wlan, though it shows connected via BSNL_AP. i.e after its gets connected & after i try to browse it shows an error message "Invalid server name"

Kindly solve my problem...looking forward to a solution...thanx..

What are you talking about? Of course it is possible to share connection. Modem must be configured in PPPoE mode. Read the choices here on the "Broadband - How-to" section. There is a sticky post about useful guides in that section.

    Questions?

    1. Have you read Basic Broadband Guide (post # 46)?
    2. Have you read Multiple Connections to Internet - A Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) Guide? If yes, have you understood the concepts of bridge and PPPoE?
    3. Have you read Solution for multiple machines connecting to same BB connection?
    4. Is your modem configured in bridge mode or PPPoE mode?
    5. Is automatic DHCP enabled in the modem?
    6. And finally, are you able to surf internet from desktop and laptop, simultaneously, i.e., at the same time?

Your first post indicates that you are able to surf either by desktop or by laptop at one time. This means you are in bridge mode. In bridge mode, the connection is established via a dialler.

Apologies if I am not sounding helpful. But the problems that you are facing are clearly addressed in the above posers. I am sure that if you read and understand the concepts, your problem will be resolved.
