I just starter with my new BSNL Broadband connection. I am using a Beetel 110BXI ADSL Model. This setup i am able to use with just one PC using the LAN cord. However, i am struggling to connect the CIsco wrt54G.

I looked up some forums asking me to change the IP address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1 of the ADSL modem and and then change the WAN as as Bridging in the settings in the wifi router to make it work.

However when i make these changes, the connectivity goes out and i am unable to browse internet and had to get the BSNL technician to reconfigure the ADSL modem.

Any steps that i should actually be performing?

Regards,
Ramesh
