How to connect UbiSlate 7C+ WiFi to BSNL Huawein QuidwayWA1003A WiFi

Should I follow the same procedure as explained by Essbebe to connect UbiSlate 7C+ WiFi that has Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4? This has been bought for my school going daughter and delivered only yesterday. The WiFi spec in this Slate is WLAN WiFi IEEE 802.11 B/G/N. The browsers are UbiSurfer and Android with 512MB RAM, 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, 4GB internal memory expandable, and 2G SIM calling function and GPRS/EDGE Data. I have been using this Quidway WA1003A Type II modem for my desktop PC via LAN

I think the answer is that the Huawei modem does not support Android. Again, for WiFi one needs to choose the WiFi connectivities listed in the Slate.
