Default How to access banned websites?

My cousin is currently working as an engineer in China. She wanted to be able to access Facebook and Twitter but those sites are blocked in China. I heard changing IP address and VPN will help to access banned websites. I want to know what are the easiest way to access websites in countries where they are banned?

Also there are YouTube videos that I want to watch but they were banned in my country. Is there anything I can do with my IP address or router so I can watch a blocked content?

The best solution is to use a VPN.
VyperVPN is good. Also, Avast antivirus has an option for VPN service. Note that these services are paid.

You cant do anything with the router to access blocked contents!

If VPN can make me access Hulu, I won't mind paying some cash. There are many websites that I want to access but I can't due to my location. This would be a great innovation on my part.

In fact, you have an option to set your location, so the website 'thinks' that you are actually from there. By the way, what is Hulu?

Hulu is a video broadcasting website that lets you watch every single American TV show in existence for free. Here is the catch though, It is not available outside the US. Their Permission to broadcast is only for Americans. Hulu is legal site thats why it is US exclusive. They cant buy the rights of the shows globally.

I'll recommend ExpressVPN as I've used it a lot of time in accessing restricted websites in my school. Although, you have to pay a monthly rate for it, it's working perfectly fine unlike other VPNs out there. Anyway, I think in China, people use weibo instead of facebook and twitter, right?

Hulu is not free, " Limited Commercials and No Commercials plans available. Starting at $7.99/month. SHOWTIMEŽ available for an additional $8.99/month."
But it is available only in US, like you said.

It does have a free service but if you watch for free there will be commercials and if you are going to watch ongoing shows, you will be 2 episodes late. But yeah it is only available for the US sadly.

I wish I could use Netflix in my country and Hulu is okay, a lot of good sites are like that, only for US residents. You can bypass that by using SurfEasy, you can earn up to 1GB of free service, but after you need to pay and it works really good. I enjoyed using it very much.

Also there is a vpn chrome extension, that works very well for me it is called hola, it's logo is a smiling fire. I have used it quite successfully. Very easy to navigate and super fast.

I tried Hola before but sadly It doesnt work with Hulu, It can handle US exclusive Youtube videos though but in a very slow rate of buffering. I heard Netflix sad they will be a globally available company in 5 years. They said that 2 years ago so 3 more years of waiting and maybe that promise will come true.

You can also use hotspot shield. This is the one that I am using right now, but if you know how to configure you can use open vpn.

i think the easiest way to access to a banned site is to change IP or to use proxy.
