Default My router does not have setting for port forward, what next?

    Hi everyone,

I was trying to open a port so that my torrent client becomes connectable to the tracker. I followed the instructions given on portforward.com but unfortunately reached a dead end as the custom Binatone slave provided by Timbl Broadband service does not have that feature.

So do I contact the customer service for this? Even if they can do it, my problem is when they ask me why I need port to be forwarded, what would I say? For torrents? I am a little septic in opening confessing to torrenting and that too seeding. Any advice for a fellow broadband user?

Of course you can say its for torrent / gaming / ip camera... list goes on. They have no right to block it. Your service provider does not seem to have much spread.. Get rid of them if they are reluctant!
