You must configure your modem (wa3000g4) in PPPoE or always-on mode. Username and password will be stored in modem's flash memory and it will automatically dial the connection when it is switched on.
Just follow the steps here: WA3002-g1 (Type-II) ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION.
The above link is for WA3002-g1 but it will also work for your modem.

Hello just4kix,
One of my friend asked me to visit this forum and try to contact you to get the perfect solution of my problem.
I m living in Thailand and using an IPTV thru internet....I am having a 6 Mbps ADSL connection at my home since last March and using IPTV on it....it was working fine since last month (till november 14), then from this day when ever I try to on TV it works for only 2 mins and then goes in slow motion....and if I press the channel button it again buffers and works for another 2 mins and then same....slow motion....but the other side of the picture is my IPTV works fine from 3 am (very early morning) to 9 am (morning)....and then happens same throughout the day.
Initially I thought it may be a problem of ISP, so I asked them if they have changed some thing....they said there is a promotion on service and we increased your speed from 4 mbps to 6 mbps (which I m havin now)....so I realized that speed should not be a concern....and I am really getting a download speed of aprox. 5 mbps most of the time of day....then I tested my IPTV box on some other places assuming that it may get failed but at other places it works fine....
I am having two ADSL Modems
1. ZYXELP600 series
Model :: P-660H-T1 v2
2. TP Link
TD-8817
as assuming that it may be a problem of bandwidth or port forwarding / blocking....therefore could you please be so kind to help me and let me know how do I configure my modem (any of the 2) so that I can send max. bandwidth to IPTV box or open any port if it is blocked.
existing configuration is
VPI: 1
VCI: 32
WAN Settings: PPPoE
Username: provided by ISP
Password: provided by ISP
Connection Type: PPPoE LLC
Obtain DNS Automatically: Enabled
Nailed up Connection - True
SAU- full features
this is really strange for me that it is not working only at my place but if I put same to my friends place it works like it doesn't have any problem....
Note : here in Thailand there is a provider who is getting signals from India....and having a server some where north in Thailand (we are at north east)....and we are connecting to their server using internet.
@rkhare,
I am not very familiar with IPTV setup. But whatever you have mentioned above is correct setting. If you are getting the connection, able to surf, getting IPTV, etc. then I doubt whether there is any issue with the modem configuration. If that was not the case, you would not get a connection at all.
And you said that it (the modem) works like a charm at your friends place.
This means that the problem lies somewhere else. Maybe the problem is at the port at the ISP end. I am just guessing here. You should log a call with the ISP.
As mentioned above set up seems OK.
IPTV Not working during certain period and buffering with such a high speed network is Baffling ! Anyway
confirm set up as per diagram.
You can disable wifi mode in either unit and try.
In Modem settings Annex M mode/adsl2 + can be enabled.
When you check SNR.ATTN page check the synchronised speed and actual rate.Post details here
Please post following data. Copy/Paste here.
In computer :
Start RUN
New window
type cmd
New window
type ipconfig /all

HI,
I am using reliance broandband internet connection, they are provided the Bipac 5200S modem it is working fine with LAN Cable. But actual problem is i have BSNL zte zxdsl 531b wireless modem. so i want to use wireless modem instead of bipac 5200s modem. can anyone help me to configure the zxdsl 531b modem for reliance broadband connection.
Regards,
Rajender
Please keep aside Billion Bipac adsl modem with present settings.
vpi/vci 0 and 35 for Reliance BB.
Step 1:
Try SAME settings in ZXDSL 531B in PPPoE mode ( userid/PW entered in Modem WAN page)
Check Internet works as usual in LAN mode.
Step 2:
then Wifi settings.
Feedback.
similar model. WA3002_g4)( see sign link below)
Chennai Telephones- Changing password in DataOne Pre-configured modem
Para two:
Step 3:
If above did not work, use Billion modem as usual.
Step 4:
In ZXDSL Select "MER" instead of PPPoE
Other settings auto configure.
Connect Rj45 from Billion to Lan 1 of ZXDSL 531 B
Another Rj45 to computer ethernet port.
Confirm Internet works.
Confirm WIFI works.
