Thread: strange matter-prob wit u-torrent

frnds im using both pc n laptop at my home.only my laptop has this problem...my plan is 750..i found this prob recently...


when i start u-torrent im not able to browse anything in my laptop..but u-torrent keeps workin(ie its doawnloadin wit out any prob)..if i close u-torrent then also im not able to browse..i hav to restart my laptop again to browse..i think its a strange prob....n de version im using is 1.8...i didnt hav this prob before..but 4 last 2 days im suferin wit this..n im using vista..

Try reducing the upload rate. I am using ver 1.8 without issues.

If that doesn't work... try using a different browser like firefox or chrome...
(Assuming that u r using internet explorer)...

yes you can try to use any other brower too and if that is also not helping you then try to reduce up and down speed limit for utorrent and then you can try to reset winsock too coz it may be a problem with TCI/IP files on your laptop.

One more thing i would like to add here, i have used Vista Ultimate (claims to be the best version of vista) but never found it good for work purpose it is good for light users only who enjoy watching graphics and all those aero effects. Apart from that vista is good for nothing.

frnds im using firefox,chrome n internet explorer...i was able to browse before..for past 2 days only im havin this prob....even my frnd had it 1ce but now no prob 4 him...

run antivirus... if it doesnt detect anything then do a system restore... choose a chkpoint when everything was working fine...

can you just try this small command on command prompt
netsh reset winsock catalog
this will reset TCP/IP on your system and its a safe command which will not delete anything from your system

this command might help---

Click on Start button.
Type Cmd in the Start Search text box.
Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run Command Prompt as Administrator. Allow elevation request.
Type netsh winsock reset in the Command Prompt shell, and then press the Enter key.
Restart the computer.
