Thread: Satellite Internet and its disadvantages

Satellite Internet provides easy Mobile connection to the Internet and the availability of the same rests with some providers. Satellite Internet is a one-way satellite service and requires the use of a modem or other data uplink connection. Then the Satellite dishes are also very large and expensive. Satellite Internet in a way also has a high latency problem which is caused by the signal as they have to travel 35,000 kilo meters into the space to reach the satellite and then come back to Earth again. So there are full chances of signal delay and this makes Satellite Internet not very suitable for applications that require real-time user input for example the multilayer Internet games.

disadvantage-It has Less Speed as compared to A broadband.(some have good speed)

advantage-it is portable and u can carry it wherever u want.

If you'll just need an internet for your home then you might as well get a broad brand connection. Its much better than a satellite internet. Or perhaps just for now since the signal delay problem with satellite internet connection isn't solved yet. The only thin good with satellite is that you can use it anywhere and that's it. About its connection, well its not really that good.
