Vasai is outside Mumbai metro. So the choice could be BSNL, Airtel, or Reliance.

You could also consider Reliance Netconnect+ or Tata Indicom Photon+ USB data cards. They provide speeds upto 3.1 mbps but not very cheap.

I'm here in Vasai and the internet connection sucks. Other than BSNL which faces internet outages on a very frequent basis due to some cable cuts serving Vasai, only other options are an expensive and lousy Reliance Wimax and Vasai cable internet. The latter has only 30-45 min power backup after daily power load shedding twice a day!

I tried Reliance for a month and was very expensive, 3rd rate service and a lot of cheating. I'm back on BSNL now, praying regularly.

The only other sensible option I think is Tikona, but unfortunately they enable only societies, not individuals. Once we have a sane society management, I'll try to get society permission for the same. You could try that too.

    Good luck!

    Thanks for the info

I might go for BSNL or VPCL
