I read in a newspaper yesterday that a certain company is offering 4 G in India. I was shocked because 4 G have still not been approved but is certain which it is going to be.
I visited their site. They claim to have 4 G ofdm and Mimo technologies.
It is possible for one to deploy the technologies without approval of ITU as it deal with telecom and which tikona is not in a way.
What are the speed are they offering?
A meager 256 kbps to 16 kbps.
Now it need serious investigation.
I found out LTE-advanced is not gonna use just ofdm but ofdma ( it is a version of ofdm). What is troubling is how are they giving so low speed in comparison to 4G standards set by ITU which I have stated:
100mbps download mobile and 1gbps stationary?
After a while I found out 4 G is going to use these technologies but not in the way they are used. In fact some called 3.9 G as 4 G which is justified upto a point but not 2mbps in name of 4G.
So you see a person can say he a tap water as filter by saying every water that comes out is filter by Delhi Jal board.
What I want to know is there any law to curb this. Because not all are aware of this.
TRAI should take action about this disinformation and wrong advertising.
