searching best Internet provider for rishikesh

Hello i am a customer from Tata and they keep cheating me whit the speed.
i surely get reply now from them, so they give there standardized message n the eulogy of sorry n helps on the phone if that not work, they send a technician, meanwhile he is on the way, they push up the speed, technician arrive check it n say sir no problem. i feel like trashing him my notebook in his Grin or thinking to go n s..t ratan tata in his tchai all the time, when that happen . But i have enough of this game. i searching a provider who not cut the speed like tata. Bsnl i heard the cheat whit the billings, reliance i heard too slow. Anyone out there who has a great provider in rishikesh whit good speed who does not cheat . Or should i wait hundert years before India is able to provide all the User speed they pay for in a professional educated manner?

the last option you wrote is the best and the most saving plan... i.e to wait for some 200 years more atleast...1000 years i am sure we will get atleast 12 gb plan in all providers.. if not UL.. And capped..

You will get them for free if you are in Tamilnadu. DMK has their manifesto ready and is offering TV, Mixi, Grinder, Laptop, Rice at canteen rates.

Tata -adsl -broad band -if not workable- Try prepaid BSNL BB plans ( bill capped u/l plans) so that you wont have night mares on their meter & billing.

I dont have BSNL BB at home (had Tata for 3-4 years) and considering some BSNL BB plans this summer holiday even though it is a hassle to go to Csc/apply/bribe line man etc.

Reading a few regular posters about BSNL has given me the courage to face the BSNL red tape.

Due to too much competition Mobile Voice prices (pre paid)in India is one of the cheapest (cheaper than Africa even)
I travel constantly and have pre paid sims in Singapore,Hong Kong ,China, and UK and talking from experience.
USB data card mobile broad band usage costs are expensive in Sing,HK,China for pre paid and in post paid some what tolerable.

In 2-3 years time only 4-5 cell phone providers will survive in India and others will get bought over. Then we will see real increase in prices.

I started Internet use with 56 Kbps speed sify/mantra/BSNL (Sancharnet/ NETONE still available)
now 2 Mbps speed earlier and now 512Kbps quite sufficient for most personal activity. Email/surfing/VOIP / forum etc.

Professionals/Software companies get whatever higher speed they want at a price even now.

3. About "Freebies" in Tamil Nadu.
Many conditions apply. TV is given free, , to ALL irrespective of Income etc. Resale price is/was Rs 1000/=!

IF you don't need , don't collect or simply sign the receipt and the items will be available at reduced price in Karnataka/Kerala/Andhra Pradesh !!! i
Free motors to farmers/ bicycle to girl students/Grinders/mixies/ etc also.
If the Party comes back to power , laptops will be given ONLY to
SC/ST/OBC/MBC students studying in Colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Anyone above 60 years of age, can travel FREE in all city buses.
Of course A/C express buses may be excluded !!!

Will wait for results on May 11th!!

@ ullisess, well Bsnl is what i think about, but is lots of works, bribing and finding they right unlimited plan because if you change the plan, it leads to disaster. I am for same purpose here as you and have not much time to waist waiting that the speed is enough to call my parents over skype or checking Face book, or download a movie for to watch n interesting downloading a movie from a user whit strong speed, keep the speed going. let see

what i have seen is that mostly Telecom providers cry out that India has the lowest call charges in anywhere in the world, i have a question for all of you..

Its all the marketting propaganda in INDIA. the general public behaves like a lamb, and aping others is a common factor for mobile population in India, its not the neccessity..

People take connections and throw them away in somedays. people are wasting their money in stupid voice and sms plans which they cannot fully exhaust in the given time period. there is no plan for the people. but its all for the cos.

Cheapest call rates does means drop down calls, weaker signals, or use of antique machinery??

the problem is people are not complaining in one voice.. remember, when we have to buy something , we also have the power to decide, isnt it?? or do you rely on a shopkeeper that he fks you??

At phone i use the cheapest phone frome Nokia where u can call n sms.
I use Vodafone sim and have one paisa per second for non local call.
I thinking to get a phone whit 2 sims to get one paisa everywhere per second.
Forget internet,3 g, Ringtones or phones whit thausend apps, most don't know how to use it, is only for Show off. more important is the torch on the phone . I do not know what people else do whit there Phones, the only abo i have is the Pancha gram for to know the things for my pujas n vrats.

Haha. My mother also uses her phone for vrats n tithies. Btw, i also had the multimedia phone. I.e torch, sms n calling. But nw i m litle advncd, i m using phone which has carrom board.

ha ha u Mother is smart as me. good one whit the carom board, well i think a about to upgrade to bouncing ball, its very addictive but it need torch the next most important to dial n write
