There cant be anything worse then Reliance. They kept closing my complaints for over a month and must have given me atleast 25 complaint numbers but the connection never worked and then they sent me a bill of Rs4200 which I refused to pay as the connection was not working for the period they sent me this bill for and now their collection agency is calling me all the time and using unaccpetable language and I am replying in the same language...
Reliance is a waste of time and money! Reliance should be banned from doing business in India.
Yep, that is the one reason I never recommend Reliance to anyone even though they have some nice plans (compared to others). I think every ISP qualify to get the vote and BSNL may win this poll considering they have a larger user base and hence higher no. of unhappy customers. But we can easily evade their bills even if they send some wrong ones (which they do often). But in case of Reliance they kind of have ICICI bank policy to get their money back, no matter whose fault it is.

I am ready for whatever they want to try to get the 4200rs they claim I owe them! I will just spend the rest of my life talking about the ordeal on this forum which happens to get 35k visitors eery day and it will keep rising... I am sure I will be able to put a dent in their customer base over the years by telling every one how they treat their customer.
I will not pay this money no matter what they try and they are not getting their equipment back untill they ammend the bill to reflect the reality and send a written appology for what they are making me go through. Till then I am going to spend my time and energy telling every one about the reality of how Reliance works.

I had applied for the 4Mbps broadband connection, for which a field guy approached me later. He made me take the 2Mbps connection as he told that for a fresh connection, its not possible to give a 4Mbps connection. He told that this can be changed to 4Mbps connection, after as soon as the connection is installed. I agreed and gave him all the documents and cheque, last October 16th, and so far I haven't received any calls from them!
Today he called me and said that there are no ports available to give me the connection!! What an a** hole???
If he knew this before why the hell did he take the cheque!! The money's also debited from my account. I asked for the refund and he says it will take another 30 to 50 days!!
Does anyone know how to screw these people???
You are screwing them already. More people should get to know how Reliance treats their customers.
Spread the word. I am going to start a new thread about my story.
Reliance sucks! Their customer service and sales staff are good for nothing. This Reliance company should be barred from doing business in India.

If you have time to spare, try consumer court. This is a clear case of cheating and it will go in your favour.
It is difficult for most to reply/vote to this poll as very few people have used all ISPs.
I have used BSNL & Airtel3G & I find Airtel to be the worst.
I hereby certify BSNL the Worst ISP of World.

Not having experienced any other ISP other than BSNL, I am unable to decide.
But I will advise that people stay away from Cable based ISPs (such as Hathway).
p/s. Added more ISPs to the list.
i think bsnl is best. at least they dont have any policy to get their money back. even they offer 3g network for 2g customers, which is better than other 2g network.
I have used airtel, bsnl, mts.
I use to my net connection for 2 things, youtube and online gaming(mmos, steam bla bla bla).
MTS total crap :XX. Reason : They are based on tata docomo network latency to most servers is good, but congestion :XX. I couldnt even think of playing any games till 1am, after that time they open some kind of flood gate which causes your downloads to go highers and your ping to go lower. During normal day usage is ok, night time usage till 1am, i wouldnt get more than 7kBps.

Airtel : My first love in internet broad band, i was one of the first customers in my area. awesome speeds, jitterless, low latency connections to almost all servers. Then after a while good will gone, no technical problems, but the latency kept climbing. Airtel has only one vision now PROF$TS. Thats why they have not upgraded most speeds from basic 256kbps. All their 4MBPS unlimted*(*FUP applies) are customer baits. Also they have terrible routing, i presume they are use cheap pipes to push the bits from india out, to make you guessed it even more MONEY!
Bsnl : I am currently using it right now. They seem to be going in the right direction we atleast have 512 unlimited with NO FUP. Just a while ago bsnl has horrible latency but now things have changed and i get good pings to most servers i play on, most servers aka. eu servers and singapore. The customer service part sucks i agree, but here is a tip when the lines men come your home to install the phone/ modem after its all done, take them out for tea and some snacks and get their contact number. If you can do this, after this point call the lines man directly if you have any problems, cause after you spend like 1-2weeks talking with the main office, its always the same lines men who coem to fix your problem. the only problem is your job is placed in a queue which may take time to get to. If you can get his number and maintain a good relationship with them your problems will be solved quickly.
