Thread: Best unlimited plan

Hello guys,

My current ISP is Hathway with a 512kbps unlimited plan. The FUP plays its part after 10Gbs and I am hating it so want to change my plan. They are providing 1Mbps till 20Gb for Rs1100 and 2Mbps till 10Gb for Rs880 which are really not suitable for me.

Please tell me if this is my best bet. I live in NCR region and want a 1 or 2Mbps unlimited connection till atleast 30Gb.
P.S. the budget is around Rs1400.

There are no 1 Mbps unlimited plan I think. Check bsnl.co.in, BSNL has the best of the plans.

BSNL 1350 ULD Home Combo is good as it gives 4 Mbps till 20 GB and then 512 kbps (64 KBps) thereafter. It is unlimited plan. And other one is of 1700 Rs which gives you 2 Mbps till 40 GB and 256 kbps (32 KBps) thereafter unlimited.

But MTNL is providing this offer which I think is better. In hathway if I download on sundays it doesn't count on my FUP. Is there something like that on MTNL, BSNL or Airtel?

And do MTNL or BSNL provide static or dynamic IPs?

You do not have a choice between MTNL and BSNL. MTNL is only available in Delhi and Mumbai where BSNL do not offer the service.

Well I guess I have to stick with hathway then

guys , i think many are misguided , hathway had no FUP . even they mention in website .
i am using hathway , 4m last 4 months , even i got doubt about FUP , and i asked the hathway member , are u sure about it , so i took 512 kbps plan for 550 rs . and used ; i downloaded 100 gb + in a month , there was no FUP , when he came for bill collection , i asked him about 1 mbps plan , and clarify about FUP , then he said we cant control max ,min internet using LAN , i mean my connection was through LAN wire . my plan cost Rs.950 . and i watch lot of movies online , and my download exceeds 150 gb now . getting 100 kbps during night and during day 60-70 kbps . i dont know y , speed drops in torrent , but the speed will be the same if i download any other file from link provided , it gives around 120 kbps download speed .

so , just call the hathway member and ask them ; about FUP . i am from delhi , i am sure there is no FUP @ delhi . hoping to get 2 mbps - 5 mbps speed for 1500 rs . in next few months , when i feel needed . but 1 mbps is excatly matches my need , i dont like buffering in u tubes , :P so for me hathway is the best ever .
