How to earn rep points??

Hy Guys... I am new to this forum and i love it a lot.

Can anyone please tell me what are REP points and how we can earn them??

Rep points are purchasable* as "Rep credits".
5 Rep points = 100/-
10 Rep Points = 200/-
15 Rep points = 275/-
20# Rep points = 325/-

I could be unaware of the most recent list, so please pm the admin about this issue and you will be helped

There are many benefits of rep points (about administration on the forum, moderating powers etc) authority and prestige subsequently increases. More rep means more power to handle the forum.

Last stage of rep system is when you have earned more reps than the admin/owner. That is a very crucial moment.

Admin is a new guy every new season. Sometimes a turk may ask for more time if popular vote but this is a kind of secular regime running on dictat terms..

Don't please buy reps.. (though as they, i listed above ).. Who knows where the money goes... :P

and yes, i had been the admin quite many times.. and you know got bans, white-black-grey listed so i was demoted again and again
believe me admin is not a fun experience if you thinking of being one..

It is nothing like that. Rep or Reputation points are points earned via number or posts in the forum as well as others giving your "thanks" for your helpful posts.

a) you earn 1 rep point per 100 posts - but do not start posting trash/spam just to earn rep points. You may be banned for that.
b) when you post a really helpful post others may thank you. They can do this by clicking on the "weighing scales" icon in the post. You will get as many rep points as per the reputation power of the person giving you reps.

For example, you have 1 rep power at the moment. If you award rep points to someone, that someone will get 1 point. I have 27 points. So my "thanks" to someone will earn her/him 27 points.

Reputation points cannot be purchased.

The best way to earn rep points is to participate actively in the forum and provide helpful answers to others.

Appears incorrect. could be 500 or 1000 posts: really never checked.

REP points appear ONLY in USERCP with details of the thread and member who gave it to you. Members with less than 15 posts
even if they click I approve and say thanks etc, the other member does not get any rep point.

rep points a member can give.
How this is worked out depends on settings in Vbulletin
( can be changed by @ Admin anytime )
REP Power point for number of posts = X ( seems 1000 posts now )
REP Power Point for Rep points received = Y ( seems for 100 )
Unknown factor = Z ( No idea : for blogs?)
Total X+Y+Z
I normally get increase in Rep Power after 1000 posts.
Posts now 14858. Rep power 28: could become 29 after 15000 posts

Neither Rep points/ or REP power/ &number of posts has any special facility/value to the member concerned. .

You can be thrown out any time from the forum !!!
Because I have REP power of 28( Now ) does not prevent @moderator with rep power 1 (one) issuing me infraction notice/warning/ ban etc.

"I do not approve " normally not used. Member may not start an argument with you in Private messages mode )

Hy Guys.
Today I checked my rep points status under USER CP. I have 27 Rep points.
But whenever i post anywhere in the forum, in the left side of the post only one rep point in shown...

Please answer why this happens...

I think when you have 100+ rep points it become 1 reputation on the bar below your avatar

i didn't know about that, thanks for the updates. however i would like to know, does rep points allow you to add a signature?
