Is it possible to get a decent internet in this country?

SERIOUSLY? I pay 1500 per month for 4mb speed and i get 1.5 down speed. Terrible pings except in night. Disconnections and terrible customer care support. So retarded

My answer after trying for years would be "NO"

I live in the capital of this country and I cant get a decent broadband connection and have to rely on 3g to surf the net. God save the rest of the country

I have given up hopes on cheap but fast/reliable broadband for retail consumers.

Go for Fibre internet connection such as Reliance Broadband or Beam to get decent speed with stability - reasonably priced as well.

@itsmemad No FTH service is available where I live. Mtnl also provides FTH but last time I called up the lady on the other end said : "Woh kya hota hai? Sir hamare yahan to bas internet aur phone service hoti hai" So I gave up on that idea and know for a fact that it is not available in my area. Just a select few localities.

YES, if you move to south. There are huuuuuge options upto 100mbps!! But none in rest of the India :/

Anyhow, I get around 10mbps on 21mbps Reliance 3G, but fup is only 15GB. :/
