Default How to remove displaying default gateway and show the ip address?

    Hi,
When I check my ip address it shows the default gateway address from my ISP if I search on google or anywhere. What I want is to show my IP address instead of default gateway from ISP.
How can we do this? I already contacted with ISP but they are saying that we show the our default gateway address, you can not show your ip address.

As I have 2 connections from the ISP. Both shows the same IP if I check it. If I buy a new one they said It will also show the same IP.

I restarted routers so many times disconnected and connected again but nothing happens. It shows the default gateway address as IP.

I think is it a big problem. Isn't it? As if one site bans me lets say facebook, no one can open facebook from the ISP.

How can we solve this? Is there any way? I have 2 routers. Can we change it from router setting or something?

    Thanks.

Your ISP is using the same IP for a number of customer and there is nothing you can do about it. Why would you get banned from anywhere? Unless you are spamming of course, I don't see this as a matter of concern.

What if some other user on the ISP is spamming. If he/she gets blocked all other users also gets blocked. As we cant guarantee what other users doing on internet.

Yes that is true. If I ban your IP on this forum then all others using your IP will also not be able to access ths website.Unfortunately that is how it works and there is nothing your ISP would do about it. You can pay for a dedicated line if you want a dedicated ip just for yourself but that will cost a little more then what you currently pay.

This wont be a problem if you get an adsl broadband connection from BSNL for example or other ISPs.

If having a new IP is very important to you then get a VPN service subscription. Here is a post about how to unblock websites that would be of some help to you.

The webpage is displaying your public IP address being assigned by your ISP. Your router does the subnetting, and assignes IP address to each of the devices connected to it, which includes your laptop and mobile. This is called the private IP address, which is visible within the internal network, that is your home!
Now, since all devices are connected to a common router, which has only ONE EXTERAL IP address, which is called the public ip address, you will only see that, when you search for your IP in google, as webpage can only see the external IP address.

You have two options to hide you IP, like smoothvibes suggested, get a VPN. OR, get one more ISP.
