    Dear Friends,
    I am from Khanda Colony in New Panvel, Maharashtra.
    I am facing a serious headache and harassments from Dvois Ssv i-on broadband.
    This started from Oct 17th when I renewed my package. I use a 2mbps unlimited plan. Every night approx between 8-9 pm the net speed will just drop to 50-100 kbps. And then it will be fine in the morning around 10-10.30. This seem very strange to me, how can it happen every night, but that is what is going on.
    Even my 2mbps plan, I never got above 1.3 mbps. 1.3 is the max, mostly it hovers around 1.2 mbps.

    So after noticing the same trend since renewal, I complained about it to the local office, they said they have no idea why this is happening. I called the call center and insisted on talking to a senior because I was complaining since 17th. The floor manager said send us an email with screenshots, we will look into the matter. I did the needful on 22nd October. Since then daily I have been promised that someone will call me back but it never happened. I kept complaining to local office and call centre but no replies at all, only same fake promises of we will look into the matter and you will receive a call back.

    Now this is the most ridiculous and terrible thing I have faced. The Local Manager(I am not sure if I am allowed to take names) literally calls and threatens me saying if you keep complaining, we will cut your net wire off or wont renew your package which is due renewal on the 16th of Nov. He was literally shouting on me on phone saying you should complain at night when you have the issue. Luckily, the issue also occurred during daytime and I immediately called the technician who confirmed I was getting 70 kbps speed. So that technician calls a tech head Mr X who confirms there is an issue. Now I tell them I get issue every night so they tell me to call the call center and inform them about this and send an email and they will look into the matter. I did the same. They themselves told me to call and send an email and their local manager calls and is literally blasting on me shouting on me threatening me saying we will cut of your wire, I will tell the main office to not renew your package, I myself will look into it that your package is not renewed, etc. That behaviour was disgusting but I could not complain about it anywhere.
    And how can I complain at night when they are closed and no tech person is present in the office.
    Since 17th every night I complaint but they just close the complaint next morning saying it was closed as per the feedback given by me.

    I sent an email the the Nodal officer also complaining about the speed drops at night and the behaviour of their local manager but as I expected, he has not replied. No one picks up the call either.

    Their Bangalore head office also just cuts off the call if you say you are from Mumbai having an issue. Literally, without saying anything they just disconnect the call.

    In the past also I have had serious issues, my wire was cut accidentally/purposely, by someone from their office who had come to terminate one connection. They cut my wire by mistake. After complaining, the Local manager says their rival cut off the wire. I have never heard such utter non sense in my life, first of all these people have monopoly, there is no rival. Secondly instead of accepting their mistake, they said they will repair the wire. But there was always issues so I had to replace the wire on my expense.
    This was told to me personally by the boy that left the job, if he had not told me I would have never known about this.

    The replaced wire was damaged, they did not check it while installing, I had several issues and after they checked 2 months later, they said its your wire. I had a big argument with them but in the end again I had to pay from my pockets for the wire again.

    Sadly there is monopoly over here or I would have just changed the provider. MTNL does not seem that good in my place, couple of my friends have changed it to a dongle. Now I am a gamer too so I cannot change to wireless yet.

    If someone here has any contact in Dvois SSV i-on broadband, please help me out. Would highly appreciate it. If you have any question, feel free to ask.

    Just shows how bad customer service, you issue is most probably because during that certain time it is peak hours and there are a large number of users during that time which means slower speed, I can not see any other problem other than this.
    Let me get this striaght the slow speed is only for one hour right?

    Hi thanks for replying, appreciate it.
    Sorry my bad, I was not clear. The slow speed is from 8-9 pm to 10 - 10.30 am. In short whole night net is almost non existent. If I have to upload some imp file with pics of 20-30 mb. I cant because 50-70 kbps is like 6 - 8 kbps download/upload effectively.
    I wont create such a big issue if it was only one hour really but yea my mistake I was not clear.
    There are random downtimes and a whole week the net was down, they said some wire got cut off.
    IT is like when it works it works fine, but it has never worked flawlessly a whole month, there is always some or the other issue.

    Customer service is non existent, just google up about this broadband. It is a matter of luck, if you get good wiring and connection, you are fine, if you get unlucky, no matter how much you complain, the problem wont be solved.
    I mean if you and your brother are neighbours and have the same connection, it is very very much possible in this broadband that your brother's connection is very good and you keep having issues.
    There seems to be some issue at server side which they wont acknowledge and do not have the capability to troubleshoot.
    Can you believe the person who is supposedly the "Tech Head", the one effectively looking after the infrastructure does not understand what "tracert" command is. Either he is just acting stupid purposely or if it is true, I am not surprised as to the quality of service.

    I understand the meaning of peak hours but there should be a minimum level/bar set. Upto 2 mbps does not mean you provide 50 kbps. That is daylight robbery. At the moment I have already dropped down to 300 kbps. Till 9 I am sure it wont be more than 70-80 kbps. I have taken several screenshots as a proof, shown it to them but they wont acknowledge it.

    Hello All,

    Find below my mail to DVois SSV I-ON for disconnection within 3 weeks of the connection due to their pathetic services and callous attitude.

    We would like to inform you about the poor quality of connection and service being provided.
    The connection started on around 2nd of July and ever since we had to register at least 4 or 5 complaints. People at customer care do not even bother to understand the issue and register a complaint at the flick of a button. It shows complaints are routine. Let’s not talk about the speed. Except for day 1, speed never crossed 5 - 6 Mbps (Our plan is for 15 Mbps) and with frequent temporary breakages / disconnections (at least 15 - 30 times a day).


    We want to discontinue with the connection at the earliest and we are not interested in any refunds.


    However, the main reason for disconnection is not the above.


    One of the main reason is the callous attitude of your complaints team, Mr. Bhuvan, who was not only non-cooperative in understanding the issues but also rude. Was trying to get in touch with his superior, One Mr. Rahul since two days but am told he is busy in meetings. Shows how much of a value is given to a customer in attending his problems. Not discussing about small issues like taking not less than 15 - 30 min for every complaint we have to register.


    Another reason for the disconnection is because of the attitude in your Vashi office by Mrs. Sunetra. When these issues were being addressed, she was not bothered about it and on the mention of the word “disconnection”, she simply told (not wasting a second) to write a mail to customer care for disconnection. It shows either you have lot of customers and are not bothered if you lose one or two or your Vashi office job simply stops at generating new connections only. Tall claims were made by her while initiating the connection about the service levels that can be expected but in actual situation, they are not bothered.

    Its really pathetic, Guys if you have even 1 Re do not take DVOIS SSV in Navi Mumbai, its just like throwing your money in trash,

    I took SME 5MBps connect in Belapur since last two months I am struggling to get the stable connection, there customer service number provide never responds , sales guy Mr Ram Mishra and Nitesh who Sold (Stole) 7900/ package to me are absconding and not taking any calls. They are selling service for which they do not have the proper infrastructure, so they just take the money are run away.

    I am going to file FIR under fraud and absconding case, because they are least bother about what they are doing. It sounds like they have license to cheat people. I will teach them lesson that's its not India you might be thinking of 20 yrs back.

    Friends, give your money to beggers or needy rather than DVOIS SSV SCAMS.

    Consumer forums are very responsive now a days and take such matters seriously provided you can provide enough evidence of deficiency in service or lack of whatever fits the situation. Police don't want to get involved in such matters. I may be wrong on this as I have never tried.

    How would you resolve a problem with another company? You are not resolving problems of your own customers...

    Affordable company and with the good services, you really cannot not go wrong. An ISP should have three important attributes in my opinion. 1. Good support 2. Quality connection 3. Value for money. And Tikona has all those.

    Following are my ratings :-

    Support - 8

    Well organised support and honest with any open tickets and issues.


    Speed and connectivity - 8

    Quite reliable and delivers promised speed. Would have given 10, but faced some issues in the initial phase.

    Value - 9

    Would I recommend? Yes, they are value for money. You get what you pay for...
