How to activate 3G in BSNL?

i m from Aligarh (UP). currently i m a normal user of GPRS. i want to activate
3G which can i use on my Nokia 5800. so tell me the process of activation.

Hmm contact your exchange and chek do you have 3G facitly enabled on your tower if yes then buy a 3G sim which cost 59 rs and selet a appropriate data plan you prefer and enjoy 3G you can also apply online here New 3G User Registration

If you are a 2G SIM (prepaid) user,just send an SMS to 53733 as M3G120.Within mins you'll get a message to confirm.As soon as you reply with M3G120Y you will be migrated to 3G.I've done like this and I'm using Nokia 5800 too.

how much downloading speed u r getting on your 5800 with 3G. if u dwnld 5mb file how much time it takes?

I never used in a PC/Laptop,I'll be using 3G only on the move.
On the Mobile a 4 min Video in youtube will take less than 50sec to watch full.

first migrate to a plan that is 3G compatible like plan 225 in case of postpaid.It can be done by submitting a request letter in your local bsnl telephone exchange.Once the plan migration is done you can send an sms to activate 3g services.
