    Thumbs down Bsnl 3g apn

    Hello , I called up the BSNL customer care and as usual the dont know anything. Can anyone help with the APN settings for BSNL 3G for Andhra Pradesh. I am using HTC Hero

    I used Nokia 5233 and with following APN setting:

    a. Connection /Profile: BSNL-INTERNET
    b. APN name: gprssouth.cellone.in
    c. Home page/URL: WHAT EVER HOME PAGE YOU WANT TO LOAD
    d. Proxy address/I.P address & port: disable (Not Required)
    e. Username: 9194xxxxxxxx(mobileno with 91)
    f. Password: 9194xxxxxxxx(mobileno with 91)

    Default bsnl 2G sim with LW272(bsnl)

    Iam using 3G datacard (bsnl lw272). I have bought a 2G Sim with 98 Rs recharge done(3GB). Iam not able to connect with the data card. Customer care is saying some procedure to connect with mobile. They are not sure about settings in datacard. What is the settings for using GPRS in LW272.
    Is 2G SIM will not work with datacard.

    Please help me as Iam not getting any help from customer care.

    just write when ur problem starts or the msg u see when u try to connect if there is problem with settings then create a new profile for connection name it as u want and set the access point(apn) to bsnlnet ....... set this profile as default and then try to connect .................


    see if that works.....

    There are usually 2 option in data card software:

    a) APN - " bsnlnet"
    b) dial - " *99# "

    And check the network ur selecting, it should be hydrid or EDGE, not HSPDA only..
