Default BSNL 3G not connecting on HTC Diamond

I am Midhun from Palakkad, Kerala. I have bought a new 2G sim a week ago and migrated to 3G after activation. I am using HTC Diamond which is a windows mobile. So I have to manually enter the 3G settings, so entered apn as 'bsnlnet'. When i connect with this setting, it says 'cannot connect'. I have changed the band to WCDMA and UMTS. Then also not connecting. I have called the cust. care (1503) they also saying the same thing. I am not new to windows mobile, i have used different windows phones for the past three years.
By the way i was using the same phone with 2G Bsnl sim and EDGE was working without any problem.
I searched the internet for solution for this problem and cant find any...
    Plz help me...

    Default

    For APN-
Please enter 'gprssouth.cellone.in' without the quotes. It will work.

I am using a HTC Touch Diamond 2 with 3G, and it works beautifully with these settings.

Default 3G in HTC Diamond working

I have began this thread a while ago when i bought BSNL 2G sim and converted it to 3G and put it into my htc diamond. I didnt got any 'working' reply on this thread so loss all hope on this topic, and thought it was my diamond's problem. Two weeks ago i just checked if its connecting, suddenly it got connected and i just checked out the built in youtube app. It was working!!!!!! I have done nothing on my phone before or after. I think it was the problem of BSNL only. If its Nokia or Sony Ericsson you have to send a sms to get the settings, in diamond we have to type settings manually. So I think they dont know which mobile we are using. Even if you call the customer care as I did at the beginning they dont know anything about this.
Only thing you can do is wait for atleast a month as I did, one day you will get connected.
    APN: bsnlnet

    Default 3g conversion

After getting confirmation sms from bsnl it may take 24-48 hours on their backend. So u can not register to 3G n/w without that real conversion in their backend. Confirmation sms is to fool you. Also *123# message changes immediately with confirmation sms but it is not corrrect. BSNL are real idiots and they are making us fools.
