have you checked in the settings or config. that your network is 3G UMTS..and not gprs/ edge

Well it was set to automatic. i have changed it to manual and selected UMTS and later EDGE there is no change in speed.

@ramli : You have reported speeds of 3.5Mbps/1.8Mbps when you have tested it with your Sierra Data Card which is 21Mbps right. Have you been able to test E1750 or E1752 at the same location with regard to speeds ?




Also, can anyone tell me he differences between the E1750 and E1752 ? And are there any other 7.2Mbps/5.6Mbps Data Cards ?

I am ready to test as many cards as you wish. But who will provide those cards?

Till now I am getting that speed with my 2nd AC 306 to be returned for replacement of K4505 ( waiting for ) ....few minutes ago at 3.44PM.....

I am using BSNL 3g on nokia 2730 classic
range is full.....
tower is shoing 3G logo....
and there is symbol of G instead if E (EDGE) on my phone...
It means everything is alright and i am on 3g connection...
and I have tested speedtest.net.....and this is I get

DOWNLOAD 0.12 Megabits/sec
and UPLOAD 0.10 Megabits/sec

IT means nearly 15 KBps dl
very disappointed guys... somebody tell me why does it happen?

either you havent changed your network setting to 2100 umts. or you have only gprs in your area..

thanks........my phone is WCDMA ..... i have changed mode to UMTS also...... and 3g is working fine..... then whats the problem?..... can u tell me , what logo phone shows when u connect to internet with 3g?

even though your mobile(nokia 2730 classic) has 3g its is only 384 kbps max speed..that means no hspa(high speed packet access) so the speed will be lower than data card or hspa enabled mobile..

you say that you get 122 kbps=15kBps . so only half the speed of what your mobile is capable of..try to check the speed in speedtest at various times..remember the max speed you can get is only 384 kbps or 48kBps..if you want to use in a laptop or mobile get a 7.2mbps datacard it will boost your speed dramatically.

if 3g symbol shows then you are using 3g only..hope it helps..

Can you guys tell me which data cards you are using ?

The bsnl given cards or bought it on eBay ?
