BSNL DATA TOP-UP ate away all my main balance!!

Hello there,
I'm using BSNL 3G Prepaid in Maharastra Circle. The Charges as we see at 1Rs/MB is way too expensive, hence I decided to get a Top-up of Rs 197 Which should give me 500MB for inculded surfing.

I got a message from 1008 Saying 'your account has been credited with Rs 197 Topup voucher successfully from number...From...Ref:... Etc etc"
however this can not be seen from *123# or *124# or *123*6#.

WORSE still, When I tried to surf,Suddenly got a message saying "Your Main Balance is Null....Valid Until..." WHat the heck?
And 3G stopped working since then!

I did the same thing. Turned out to be a big mistake. That scheme has no validity. So although I got 512mb i am not able to use it. It is still cutting from my main balance. And just like you, it doesn't show anything when i send a sms to *123*6# etc.

Trying to call customer care, they keep cutting the call everytime.
IMHO I think they should not let one select that option unless it is applicable. In this case, it has been a clear rip off.

Exactly. They're looting us. Now the charges are double at rs2 per mb and all the unlimited plans are made limited. I recharged with rs 1102 plan that gives me 10gb. After i used up those gb i was able to use this extra 512mb but its not possible to check its use. Strange bug in their systems.
