    Smile Bsnl 3G LG272 Rocks!!!

    Hello,

I am using Bsnl 3G from last 8 months and it is working great for me.

i get 150 to 200 kbps download speed even when signal strength is 2 or 3.

i get full speed 300+kbps when signal strength is 4 or more in terrace or open area.

i am very satisfied with bsnl 3g,many people complaining that bsnl scuks, but for me it rocks.

there were 2 changes in bsnl 3g modem of LG272,first launched modems were great because it is working perfectly while after 2 or 3 months at last diwali bsnl launched new bsnl 3g lg272 in which there was changes in bsnl software which installs automatically.

My friend bought that new and it sucks for him, but for me old modem rocks.

i am also enjoying bsnl 6 month recharge.

i recharged of 4200 for 6 months that means 700 per month and downloaded lots of things and enjoyed it.

My Bsnl 3G stays connected to 8 to 10 hours continuesly, my maximum record or bsnl 3g internet was 13 hours.

i am also playing warcraft online using garena without lagg anytime, i get pings 125 to 200.

if you have any doubts ask me i will help you.

i live in ahemdabad, while travelling it works good also.

Well my BSNL 3G speed has always been the same. I have recorded 328KBps maximum and I can get it any day. The speed has been consistent.
As far as latency is concerned, I used to get higher values, of the order >200ms, but nowadays I am getting around 110ms on average and sometimes the value goes below 100ms as well.
I have used three types of datacard - 7.2mbps, 21mbps(28.8mbps) and 42mbps and speed has been same in all cases.
As far as disconnection are concerned, it doesn't really matter cause it reconnects in a span of 2 seconds and even their frequency is low.

you are right, it does not matter how high connection is(only for wireless), speed will be same...

i got 4 signal strength and see speed, it is awesome.
