Strange problem with BSNL 3G on My SamSung Galaxy POP

Hello,

I am using BSNL 2G SIM with My SamSung GALAXY POP handset which supports 3G (WCDMA+HSPDA). I am facing a strange issue. I was told by BSNL to recharge with Rs. 5 in order to migrate on 3G. I did recharged my phone with Rs 1 and rs 5 both (after reading some online threads that Rs 1 and Re 5 can activate 3G).

I am right now in Lucknow (Indira Nagar sector 8) and I am getting FULL 2G signals however I am unable to connect to BSNL 3G network. On datacard it shows WCDMA network however on Phone it doesnt.....

What could be the exact problem. I am able to use IDEA, AIRCEL 3G on this handset without any trouble. Is it a network related issue or handset specific? Any body using 3G in lucknow, please letme know your experience.

Which one u recharged first Rs 5 or Rs 1..

Rs 5 is to migrate to 3g
and for Migration from 3g to 2g Rs 1 Recharge..

Try recharging only rs 5 again! If problem doesn't solve contact customer care

I did with Rs 5 and I am on 3G SPECIAL plan. It seems like their is an issue with BSNL Bihar/JH sim in Lucknow........ because yesterday in main city my 2G services was also not working........
