Thread: BSNL is the cheap and best solution for 3G

hello frnds ..
those who are looking for 3G datacards .. or praying for 3G speed in 2G , I will recommend u to switch to BSNL . Till date, neither have I faced any problem of connectivity nor the issue of Deduction from main balance or some hidden charges which is most common in private providers like Reliance, Airtel, Idea etc..

So, I heartily recommend u to use BSNL if u are looking for cheap and best Internet connection.
here is my proof of speed in 2G plan ..

How do u get so much speed in 2g plan? Is there any spl recharge?

my dear .. there is no trick. I think time to time BSNL people become generous towards its users .. I tried ur trick .. it worked on my friend's number .. but not on mine .. so I got frustrated and threw away the sim . After that i am continuing with my old sim. n u can see the miracle.

are you using 3G sim converted to 2G or normal 2G sim card... and please let us know all the things in detail so that we can also enjoy the BSNL 3G speed....

well,I was getting 1MBPS download speed when i opened account in Indiabroadband.net so kept airtel3g as my name .....

I think he is using 3g sim with 2g plan...

yup .. I am using 2G sim converted to 3G with 2G plan

If I buy 2G BSNL sim then convert it into 3G sim, then recharge it with 2G data plan --> then will it give me 3G speed or not?

Tell exactly which 2G recharge plan you are using?

One more thing in which city and area you are using this sim?
Currently I am using microsim 999Rs plan in bangalore, my download speed is capped at 266 KBps. So if your trick works then i want to switch to it.

i am using Rs 98 plan. But bro ..don't discuss these tricks so publicly otherwise bsnl ppl will block these tricks.

my query is regarding converting of 2g to 3g .. today I converted my sim to 3g.. Now I want to know , do I need new gprs settings? Somewhere I read that after converting you should uninstall the earlier settings and install fresh settings..

give suggestion plz ..

zodiac had you installed fresh settings when you converted your sim?

if u r in delhi .. u can go for MTNL sim ..it also provides better speed in Delhi

from past two days am getting around 100kbps only.. the modem shows 3G but speed is low.. like capped on 112kbps.. no more torrents now i guess, enough..

if bsnl tries to play with me for 270/- plan, i will definetly throw my sim too

Once I got the downloading speed of 2 mbps with my bsnl 2g in 3g usb modem but now, it is only confined to 15-18 kbps . Tell me what is the reason behind this.I am waiting for your conclusion

U r getting the actual 2g speed now. Bsnl gives 3g speed on 2g plan only uptill Bsnl system ignores it. Bsnl now refreshes their system regularly. There is one trick which fools Bsnl system to believe that u r on 3g but actually u r using 2g data balance. But because of Bsnl spies on forums nobody posting that trick

Well nothing to be happy about, yes indeed not using your sim(2g or 3g) for some time, resets the bandwidth cap imposed on a particular no. The thing is very much clear when you do recharge with 2G pack after a gap from you previous pack expiration, bandwidth does get reset, but its just a matter of few days or usage, after that speed will be capped again.... happened to me several times, i never converted my sim to 3g, i use 2g sim and 2g plan under UMTS...

Only for few hours of recharge u will get 3g speeds man nothing after although i finish my 98 2g pack within 15 days of recharging even with 2g speeds.
