Thread: 3G data plan query

Hi

I had requested a 3G microsim for my iPad. However, I was given a standard sim and was told that I could use this for iPad also after trimming it to proper size. I wish to avail of the rs 599 pre-paid data plan for iPad. Is this possible, or will I have to go with the standard plan only?

U can always go for standard plans in any sim but for 999 plan to be active Bsnl registers your ipad imei no on their system then only this plan work. Contact Bsnl cc for the procedure. So if micro sims are not available at Bsnl they can activate 999 plan on nomal sim

Dear Friend, i m not here to misguide any one, i just wrote what i was told by BSNL CC. Well i may b wrong n u may b rite but 1 thing is sure that BSNL ppl are stupid. they always tell different things to diff ppl. so for bsnl i believe in "try it yourself". The BSNL System is always messed up. there are no strick rules in bsnl, 2g 3g everything is mixed up in bsnl. I get 3g speed in 2g plan, some ppl dont get 3g even in 3g plan.

Its true that BSNL is now trying to save their ass form data usage scams but still everything is possible in BSNL
