i just joined forum today.
it was a bad morning i was using bsnl 3g from last 2 months on 2g data rates coz when i ported my number from docomo to bsnl it started to give me awesome speeds..
but today it stopped so is there any more tricks still worknig
i am in gujarat circle.

In bsnl 3g speed in 2g plan depands only on luck not on any trick. There are tricks but no gurantee it will work on ur bsnl sim

i do have one sim with that old number but that wont give me 3G all the time.

nope then not lucky enough! its not working now it used to work before but not anymore!

i guess if we somehow get hold of microsim for ipad then it might start working for unlimited coz as per i know security on micro sim is tight but yet Everything can be hacked

Buy new 3g sim, it gives 3g speed on at least 2 2g recharges.

coz 274rs recharge will give me around 10Gb enough for a month

I m from up west and it's 270 rs recharge not 274

i waited like a month so that my validity on one sim gets over and then i recharged with 98in hope that i might get 3G speeds but to my bad i didnt so i guess all tricks are patched now

nope, no more tricks for bsnl.............! very sad but very true

hey its givin me 0.50 mbps now a days

Am using 2g sim (nesam-tn) and n70 in dual mode.When it get the 3g signal the downloading speed is awsome.30 to 48 kB/S.Am now at kudankulam area.Bsnl really rocks.Am using mobile since 1998.Mostly I prefer airtel.But nowadays the airtel ppl cheating a lot.Tata docomo and Bsnl are best value for our money and time.I advice you ppl don't waste your time on tricks.

Airtel Gprs pack used to give 3G last year for quite some time. That has been blocked to most .But if you have good Edge signal you can get between 20kBps (160 kbps) to 30 kBps (240 kbps)

Vodafone 2G -3G trick used to work where they were providing 3G with colloboration with Idea etc.But now they have also plugged the loophole.

BSNL 2G gprs speeds not too good.
But if it does work in 3G mode ,then 30 kBps to 50 kBps is not bad since you are not paying for 3G.

Browsing in BSNL a bit slow/ disconnection compared to download.

Real 3G speeds in good signal areas of voda/airtel/aircel is say 3 mbps to 7 mbps!!

Have been a BSNL 3g user for over an year and the ride has been good, took a connection in dec 2010 when they were offering unlimited downloads for 6 months for Rs4200. Had a golden time where i downloaded over 400GB. After that the unlimited plans stopped and the good time came to an end. The sim is capped to max 2 Mbps now. The 2g trick worked only for one recharge and then that also stopped.Still use it on and off when i am traveling in roaming and at home. As the signal at my office has gone down considerably and now going for Airtel 3g post paid, will use the BSNL 3g as back up as its prepaid. The signal for airtel is very good at my work place and primarily will be used for surfing emails as that is blocked on the office network. will update once my sim is activated on the 3g speeds of Airtel.

There is a trick...just recharge your sim by rs10 for 3g usage.Wait for 2 days.You will get back your speed.Try it.

Just found a trick on internet on phone so dont have tge link right now but it looks like they are usibg 3g through wap service type and i am unsure if that can happen over android because you simply dont have an option of service type!
