Huawei K4505 users:help needed Purchased Huawei K4505 from ebay.its working fine as modem;has latest firmware(28mbps) but it doesn't read the microsd card (I tried both 2 & 4 GB) neither in win xp nor in linux mint.
Contacted the seller he said its firmware/driver issue & would be solved in future.
I just want to confirm this from other users of K4505.
Plz help regarding this
might be due to the reader.......i 2 using 28mbps modem... but it is diconnecting exactly after 3 hours of continous use...

K4505 Working Fine With Micro SD 16 GB Card
I am using K4505 and its working fine with 16 GB card. No issues. Only issue i face is with the firmware and for the modem to be detected and installed i have to use the USB switch mode.Originally Posted by dr.rajiv
