Thread: Rs 3000 3G plan,is it worth it ?

hello friends.i am here to ask about The Rs.3000 plan by bsnl in which its giving 30000 mb for 3 months. Cost wise it seems ok but The main point is of speed. I am currently using aircel that gives me 7.2 mbps most of The times.
If someone uses this bsnl 3G plan,please tell me about The speed.

3000rs recharge looks risky to me....you cannot trust bsnl 3g speeds.........it's better to go with 1260recharge 10GB/30days... .anyway first check speeds with small data recharge like 100rs (225mb) , if you are satisfied with speeds , then you can go for 3000rs recharge....i'm not using bsnl 3g from the last 5 months, i faced lot of disconnections in bsnl 3g...

BTW you have 1250 recharge/10GB/30days in aircel 3g........

This plan is a no brainer. There is a plan worth 4200 bucks. You get unlimited 3G net for 6months. Enquire it with bsnl office in your city. I've used bsnl 3G which isn't bad at all, got max speed of around 530 kbps wid 10mbps modem of nokia c5.

What? Really? I used the plan with MTNL Delhi 9-10months before(that becomes bsnl/cellone on roaming in hometown). Well offcourse bsnl and mtnl don't have same plans.
No idea if bsnl has discontinued it. :O

No idea about MTNL 3G (delhi & mumbai) but BSNL 3G offer expired.....

Yeah,now no one gives unlimited plans, even MTNL removed it.

The thing i wanted to ask is-
I am getting max 1.6 mbps on 100 recharge of bsnl
will i get more speed if i recharge with larger pack viz. 3000, because this happens with pvt. operators like aircel & Idea ??

I think there are no speed based plans in BSNL 3G....yes, you have speed based plans in aircel.. 92rs recharge has 3.6mbps speed and 1250 plan has 7.2mbps speed.... you may get same 1.6mbps on 3000rs recharge also...

well.. its..ok if its 7.2 mbps, it won't last 3 months lol
and if i use say aircel, it will cost 1250x3=Rs.3750, i.e. Rs 750 extra for 3 months. I have still 2gb left in my aircel dongle, i will think about it !!

OK, your wish and also aircel DOUBLE DATA offer is valid for few days only, don't know the exact expiry date, after offer 1250 recharge will give 5GB only.....satisfied with BSNL 3G speed ? go for 3000rs recharge ....... i used 1102 plan ( 10gb) in bsnl 3g , i got 4-5mbps and same speeds on 103 plan( 250mb) also.. but i faced lot of disconnections..now 1102 plans has been withdrawn.....
