Thread: Bsnl 3G to 2G conversion

I am having Bsnl 3g. But in my locality Bsnl3G is not working properly.

Now I want to convert it to 2g. How can I do this.

Having 3gDatacard (Teracom). For 2g, APN would be same or different?

I have purchased bsnl (upwest) 3g sim yesterday it has 150mb free data which i have checked it by dailing *123*6# & i have micromax mmx352g usb data card , i have configured connection profile as follows
name – bsnlnet dialing no.- *99# and APN is bsnlnet , i can see cellone UTMS service availability through manual network selection however i am not able to connect to internet in order to check 3g connection speed can someone plz provide help on this issue why i am not able to connect to internet????


Internet is working fine on my samsung c5212 mobile phone using the same bsnl 3g sim however it is not working on micromax mmx 352g(unlocked) data card.

benefit is that u pay 2g gprs & get 3g speed
