Thread: Unlock bsnl 3g teracom usb modem ( w/out any soft )

open run and type "regedit" then press enter.

Then under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE open SOFTWARE and open LinkTop3G.

Then under LinkTop3G edit the engineer's value.
Set its value from 1 to 0.

after that restart your pc. your modem will work any network.

(after that when you will format your pc you need to do again.)


NOW U HAVE TO SET YOUR CONNECTION PROVIDER ANP (IN YOUR TERACOM USB MODEM > SETTINGS > CONNECTION) AND SET IT AS "SET DEFAULT"

Password :
APN: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET

FOR AIRTEL....

There is another option. Simply install the data card in other system and copy the programme file. Then again insert the data card in your system and also paste the copied folder in your systems programme files. Goto file drivers in the copied folder and click installation file named reset . This will works out . Twice I faced the problem of not detecting and on both occassions I tried this option and succedded.

Hello i just purchased the BSNL 3G LW272 v1.0 3.6 MBPS modem . The above trick don't work for it as there is no LinkTop3G key in registry.
Actually it creates registry value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Teracom3G\LW272A . In which changing Engineer value from 1 to 0 doesn't work . Can you please upload the Setup Installlation files from your data card .
