Default Suggest a good 2g connection between BSNL, Vodafone and docomo

    Hi guys,

I have a bsnl broadband connection for past 4-5 years. My net was working great at the maximum speed but from last 7-8 months I am getting very low speed and frequent disconnections. I checked the modem status. the downstream rate which was always above 3000 kbps is now always between 32 - 160 kbps. I complained many times but the guy comes and says everything is OK. I paid the lineman to change the cable and installed new single cable from the dp to my modem. But nothing helps.

So, finally i decided to say goodbye to my bsnl connection. But now there's another problem. I don't have any other provider in my area. My usage is not high. just surfing and small downloads of android apps etc. When my net was working fine then i downloaded a lot say 20 to 25 GB per month. But now i download the stuff at my office but i need the net at home also for surfing etc.

So, Now I'm looking for a good 2g plan for my home. I'll be getting 2 connections, 1 for my android tab and 1 for my laptop(i have a bsnl 3g datacard). Please suggest any good connection with good speed and no disconnections. I have a vodafone sim which i m using for calls. So if vodafone and bsnl have same speed and quality i would prefer it.

Please suggest between Vodafone, Bsnl, and Docomo only.

    Thanks in advance.

first of all tell me where you from ,which circle? secondly you should see which sim gives you good voice service with good signal. IMO Docomo is best in 2g. It gives you around 100 kbps . I also use docomo.

I am from Ludhiana (Punjab). I'll be using this connection in the datacard for data usage only so i don't have to look for voice service.
Does your docomo have a stable connection or it disconnect sometimes.

No, I don't have uninor in my area. The available providers here in Punjab are - Airtel, Vodafone, Bsnl, Docomo, Aircel, Virgin, Reliance

    Default Bsnl

Bsnl is best if you have 3g modem or mobile ...you can get 3g speeds in 2g plan for 1st day of recharge
    Bsnl 98 plan-2gb
    vodafone 99plan- 1gb
Bsnl is best both in usage and speed for cheap

Its no trick..just that the 3g signal is unlocked on 2g sim offered by bsnl..so if you recharge a 2g pack on the sim, the sim will work in 3g mode however at a speed cap of 128-155 kbps..still better than 2g...
