Set the access point name (APN) to BSNLNET . Its same for both 2G and 3G.

In order to get 3G speed you need to recharge with 3G data plans and for 2G with 2G plans. Refer to your regional BSNL website for Tariff.

If you recharge a 3G plan with 30 days validity and end up using the offered amount of data in 5days and on the 6th day you recharge with a 2G plan, your speed will get capped to 2G. But the same doesnt happen if you choose a 2G plan having validity of 30 days and recharge on any day before the 30th day with a 3G plan, you wont be getting 3G speed. It would be a waste of your money. So be aware of the VALIDITY of which ever plan you go for.

So i must take a bsnl 3g sim and FIRST recharge with FRC 120 and then i can recharge with any 2g plan or 3g plan as per my choice...

^^ Thats correct. You'll get some amount of free 3G data on FRC 120.

I did not get what you said. Every company has its own FRCs. Visit the ISP's website or call the respective customer care to know the avaiable FRCs for that particular company.

you just need to set the apn according to service provider. and get a top up on the sim depending on your network provider.
