Thread: urgent help needed

2days before as there was no adsl signal i tried resetting my wa1003a by keeping pin in the reset hole for 10 seconds...........

after that there was no light in the modem except power light.no status,ethernet light...............

and the important thing is that i am not able to access 192.168.1.1 thing

i see that lan conn showing connected.but not able to configure it...........

plz help me guys.......................

How did you reset ??

Switch off modem
Press pin (keep it pressed)
switch on modem (with pin pressed)
Keep pin pressed for few seconds.

yup did the same thing

we can not reset modem when it is switched off, as you are not getting any other light apart from power so first try to reset it again and make sure eth cable is connected properly and if possible then try to connect it on any other port on router.

if nothing helps then contact your ISP to get a replacement done.

This is a common problem.

i think we can include it as a info message on thread start page so that everyone who tried to start a thread can see this and it may help us to make a difference

Take it the other way guys...

He must have been routed by some engine... He saw IndiaBROADBAND and posted. Generally this happens when you are searching for anything specific.. U start seeing limited..

btw... hope he's settled with the issue...

This is a common problem.It happens to me a week before. But now its working properly.I don't know what is the wrong with the connection.
