Thread: low torrent speeds

Hello,

I have 500C plan and I am from bangalore.
My torrents speed are low, never go above 100 kbytes ps.

My port is forwarded correctly.

Any suggestions?

My friends do get more than 200 kbytes ps with the same plan.

modem is UT WA3002G4

Any tips on tweaking utorrent?

i have global max conn set to 500..Max no of connected peers per torrent to 118.. No of upload slots per torrent to 5 .. dht enabled.protocol encryption outgoing set to forced.Allow incoming legacy connections ticked..
I have configured this long long back looking at some articles on the web.this works cool for me..

Its always a good idea to download torrents with lots of seeders for high speeds. Otherwise even tweaking will not be effective.
