    Try using open dns.

By the way this site is also hosted in USA ... Assuming that you are using the same connection ... its your DNS which is creating this issue not USA bandwidth.

    @query4u
Please mention your modem/router model details.
Usually the MTU has to be changed to 1492 or lower for this problem.
If OS is Vista the program below will/may not be effective.
    Try DR TCP!
Download DrTCP 0.21 - DR TCP - a internet speed connection optimizer. - Softpedia

Sounds like a DNS problem , try Open DNS as suggested above

    ===============
    Open DNS Servers:
    ===============
    Preferred DNS = 208.67.222.222
    Alternate DNS = 208.67.220.220

    1. Select Control Panel from the Start menu.
    2. Click Network Connections from the Control Panel choices.
    3. Choose your connection from the Network Connections window.
    4. Click Properties button.
    5. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.
    6. Click the radio button Use the following DNS server addresses and type in OpenDNS addresses in the Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server fields.

Or You can try these :

    172.31.6.5
    172.31.7.197

The above ones which sb21pro has provides starting from 4.. they are anycast and used by verizon which will rout you through the nearest network available and they are the best ones to use if in North America but not here in India.
You will get routed through Bangladesh> Hawaii> USA main land and then a few more hope to the destination address.... all in all not the best ones to use

Dont forget to let us know if its working... I am worried for you. Hope this issue gets sorted asap.

And I forgot to ask> which ISP are you using?

i agree with admin, this is also US based site so it should not be the problem and if your connection is restricting US servers then this site should not appear on your system na hmy:

Also the browser you use . IE7 or FireFox 3.0.3 or newest Google's Chrome or Opera
Trying a different browser can pinpoint the problem.

    1. IN IE6 Tools Internet options security secure sites
add microsoft website in Allow category https:// etc ) ( from memory details given)

    2. In settings.GIF enable obtain IP address automatically.
    3. in Settings 1 uncheck enforce MTU ( now 1492) and try.
If still unable to access certain sites, restore MTU option.
Para two : Start Network LAn properties TCP/IP
    properties
IN DNS enter 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222

One word of caution with OpenDNS... if you have high latency to US sites (like I see now, ping slashdot.org taking 1.5 seconds) and you use OpenDNS, DNS queries will timeout left and right making web browsing very hard. Another thing, if you access google.com, OpenDNS will feed you some US-based server (google.navigation.opendns.com) and this will have the same high latency. If you don't use OpenDNS, you'll get a local server (im-in-f104.google.com, in my case) with ping times of <=100ms...

Of course, this is not really a problem if everything's OK otherwise with your connection (i.e., latencies are not bad)...

    1.DLINK GLB-502T ADSL2+ Router configuration for BSNL dataone | I am sumeet
2.Another option is bit complicated, u can use http tunnel to access blocked site for this Bypass Firewalls - Preserve your online Anonymity, Privacy & Security - HTTP Tunnel Corp
Go to this site and download the http-tunnel software
    3.Use a URL redirection service like tinyurl.com
    3. above used to shorten long Ip addresses.
Open tinyurl web site. type say a blocked Ip address.
    Note the tiny url ADDRESS.
Retype in address bar of IE. does the web site open now ? else what error message you get.?
    click this. http://tinyurl.com/1c2
    4. Disable firewall program, or check settings.
    also check windows firewall.

    http://210.212.160.18/broadband-conf/dlink.htm

    same as GLB502T. )
see under ATMVC setting MTU ? try 1492 and lower. ( 1452 given here lowest or even 1400. )
......................................MRU 1492. are we getting mixed up here ?
    2. Disable Any Firewall program (Next Also XP firewall temporarily.) Both not required.
    3. Tinyurl redirection correct. ( this was done to check browser presume IE7 . )
Try for Microsoft messenger. same way.
    4. Your OS updated ?

    5. Download TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net.
see recommendations. Use suggested default values. For MTU change, even if the Windows Registry is changed, modem settings remained same in one particular case.

    6. http://www.dyndns.com/support/tools/openport.html
    Check the port/s are open.
