Default speed increase in 750 UL

Hi friends does anybody has the information regarding the upgradation of speed of 750 UL plan.I am asking this because i was getting the speed almost double the speed what we are getting now in the month of july.It continued upto some days in august.i was out of station for about 15 days. When i got back the speed is same as now i.e.256kb/s.I was getting the download speed between 40-65 kb/s.Was that some sort of experiment or what?

ya, i am also getting speeds of around 60-64kBps sometimes. Technically is it possible that speed can go above the set limit 32KBps(256kbps)?

I am also experiencing an increase in speed. i m on plan 750+
i checked the speed several times in the past two days. it has been showing consistent increase, not just a short time burst
hope bsnl have upgraded their plans (the bsnl website is down for me)

Speed increases or falls in direct downloads only, in torrents it stays below 32KBps always.

I think speed test by BSNL site is not reliable. Try something else and confirm.

dont rely on bsnl site .. the actual download speed is the speed u get while downloading from torrents or any software
    i m getting a constant burst upto 40 KBps

    Default Dataone Speed

BSNL is cheating its UL750 customers. I changed from Home 500 to UL750 two months ago and suffering low speed problem, I fed up with downloading any file, its speed is just 30-35 kbps only. BSNL service engineer checked my cable etc found everything in order and informed that BSNL purposely reducing the speed to UL customers to discourage downloading. Also they informed that this fact was given in instructions column for UL new connection in bsnl portal. I am thinking to switch to some other ISP.

    Hi,

Well same **** here aswell,so much so that if it works thats something great let alone increase in speed !!

God knows when this BSNL folks will wake up to the reality and start taking care of their customers !

On one end we have Mbps speeds being offered in the US and Europe ! forget that even in Asia I think we are the slowest speed nation (not counting Srilanka,Bangladesh and Pakistan) ! this really shameful !

    Regards.

dont forget that bsnl upgraded plans cos they were getting too many complaints from public some years ago, so they had to react. what we are getting now adays is the result of that. this is one characteristic of indian psu, dont do anything when theres no complaints coming

Ohh Ya you can say that again buddy :hammer:!! what you say 100% true !

But the sad part is,In India it so happens that any company be it MNC or Govt or Private, when it comes to serving the customers they all have the same attitude !! The recent Airtels Fair Usage Policy is the prime example of this !!

On one hand we are complaining bout the speeds we are being offered here and on the other hand they want to cap the existing speed as if they've done a Favor by giving us that Sh***ty speed in the first place !!

Well God Save Indian Consumers :48:!

    Regards.
