Thread: How To configuer UT-300R2 ADSl Modem

This modem is previously used with reliance Broadband .......now i want to use it with BSNL Broad Band...........so PLZ help me on this.

What is the Default user name And Password for this modem

is it UT300R2U then i can help u (becas i 2 use the same modem)!!

1) open the browser typein 192.168.1.1 at address column, press enter then a dialog box shows up!
2) enter the default username & password, if u dont know the default user name and password (admin, admin) typein respectively) in case u have given another password and u dont remember the password there is preset button at the back clik it.
3) goto advanced setupmenu and click on WAN button
4) check the configuration if it is pppoe change it to bridge connection by using edit button, save and reboot the modem!! thats all!!

now my problem is solved.........
default user name is :admin
Password is :utstar

Now can any body help me in confiner it .........Like i want to configure DNS server but didn't find the place to it

Usually in/after the WAN settings it should appear. or if you uncheck
obtain DNS automatically the page may appear.

if you cant find it, you could always set it in your pc's tcp/ip settings..

can any one tell me the router address of ut-300 r2
i got this router from reliance now i want to connect the same router for bsnl connection.but in accessing the home page of the router.it is not geeting.
i tried with 192.168.1.1 address.can any one help me in this issue.

Option 1 :
Connect the modem and apply RESET with power on for 30 seconds.
All settings expected to go to Default factory settings
Now try 192.168.1.1

Option 2:
Same as above follow instructions. Ignore step 12.
