Default BSNL dropping rates/ upgrading speeds?

I heard it from my friend that home plan 750 UL will have 2mbps download speed....is that true? Then wat about Home plan 1000 and 500 which also has 2mbps download speed but limited usage?

Is BSNL really going to do it?

Well, how is he so sure ?
Is he having personal contacts with the top officials in government handling BSNL?

Please ask him how is he so sure ?

Haven't heard about upgradation of any plans for quite sometime. BSNL gives some at surprises every new year's eve. Lets hope they do something great this time too.

Ahh nothing of this sort is going to happen so better get back to our work! It's high time that they should provide atleast 1 Mbps UL @ maximum 1.5k per month. Sigh.

As far as I know all these are rumours. Last March also there were lot of rumours regarding all UL@256kbps plans going to 2mbps and all 2mbps plans going to 8mbps. While rate did get slashed to some extent on UL900 plans (changed to UL750) and 2 new UL1350@512kbps plans were introduced, nothing else changed.

As far as overusage is concerned, I have never been overcharged. Yes, I exceeded limits a couple of months but that was true excess usage.
