    Default slow torrent speed in 2mb/sec connection

    i have asianet brodband connection of 2mb/sec
    with free time 2am-6am
    initally i have load 4 or 5 torrents inthe
    utorrent so that i get a total speed
    of 220kb/sec.(approx 2.3gb in the 4 free hours)Things r changed in the last 4 weeks.
    now my speed is around 60kb/sec 4 even large seed torrents.(500mb in 4 hour).
    i checked my speed during this time in
    speedtest.net with bombay server.
    it is approx1430kb/sec.
    checked port in utorrent.&port is also open!.
    then i download some songs using ida s/w.it
    has also a speed of around140kb/sec.so i guss
    i have law speed 4 torrents only why is this?
    please anyone help me? is my isp blocks the speed?

    Changing few settings can do wonders.

    Asianet has done something to throttle the torrent speeds. For me also it has decreased dramatically and but when I use private trackers the speed improves. Anyway direct http links are really fast.

    i think your client is on malwarez/...

    check it first
    deactivate IE tool and empty cache...

    than reboot the modem, and also refresh the cleint server....
    hope this works...

    howeva, asianet and bsnl are giving slow speeds and its common..

    Please make sure that you dont surf or use any other program (windows update e.t.c ) in the background. Try disabling firewalls also.
    Also set the bandwidth allocation for each torrent to high.
