Well i have just been using bsnl broadband for a week now and i have just checked the portal usage site and they gave the following details ...How much data is chargable to me and how much is free. pls help...




Total Download Volume(MB) Total Upload Volume(MB) Total Volume (MB) Total Duration (HH:MM:SS) Chargeable Units(MB) Excluding Night Unlimited
4820.89 1119.52 5940.41 22 hours 709.66

you would have to look at the last column Chargeable Units(MB) Excluding Night Unlimited .. if that exceeds your plan limit.. then you would be charged accordingly..

Yes if your plan is home 500 that is the limit...If it is 500c,then it is 1.5GB limit

Use FireFox Browser with add on like Adblock Plus /FlashBlock etc . You can block pictures/flash/ banner advts etc and surf more. ( when you want ,you can disable the add ons )
In my experience , I download 30 to 40% more and stay within quota for Day usage.

Check usage daily with program shaplus 1.2 from
http://shaplus.com/dataone/index.htm.
or Datafox add on with Firefox browser.
