    Post UT-300R2U modem username & password problem

    i have changed my UT300R2U modem default username and password (admin,admin). With the changed username and password i am unable to login to the modem settings/configure modem .could anybody help me to restore/reset the username and password.

    Press the RESET button ( or access hole ) for about 30 seconds ( power on ), to reset your modem to factory settings.
    Try with admin admin again.
    All your old settings will be lost.
    You may have to re program the router to connect to Internet.
    2. What is the need for accessing the modem settings ?

    btw..just change the admin password from admin to something..why create a new username

    how can he do that when he forgot the password of admin.. only way out is to reset

    the default admin admin(u&p)(ut-300r2u) is known to most of people,with this the chances of dataone account getting hacked is easy,so i changed the default u & p.
