Rep Power: 0  |  Suddenly slow speeds Hi Folks Just joined this forum.... I got in a BSNL 750 UL Plan and everythin was amazing till 2 days back.... In a lot of the torrents i used to get in speeds of above 200 occassionally but usually above 150KBPS.... Now i dont get a speed above 20KBPS and also movies and videos used to stream now they dont at all..... Can anyone pls help and tell me whats going on???? Thanks Harsha |

| Platinum Member  | BSNL provides 15 days of trial period where speeds are 2 mbps. After that the speeds revert to the plan speed. In your case, your plan is UL750. This plan offers surfing at 256 kbps or 32 kB/s. In torrents you should get a speed of 30 KB/s. But you will not get high torrent speeds unless: a) Your port is forwarded b) You have lot of seeds Make sure both are true. Some torrents have low seeds and in this case start two torrents so as to get maximum out of the bandwidth available. Movies and Audio will stream slowly in this plan because of limited speed. This plan is not meant for streaming video.
