1.In wan page Default Gateway has it been enabled?
    2. Enable DHCP and give range 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.20 ( No harm)
    3. Check in Diagnostics page . ( except usb OAMf5(2) all should pass.
    4. Netbios overTCP/IP should be default ( look under TCP/IP Advanced WINS)
para two : you are still in dialup mode.
    Uncheck "Bridged" in wan page.
    Check ppp/PPPoE
enter your UserId ( without @ bsnl.in and password)
enable "always on" idle time =0 ) Save Reboot. Wait for 2 or 3 minutes.

i am not connectable to torrents it says some firewall is blocking i also enabled DHCP, changed lan ip 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.20 and also under tcp/ip advance WIN is in default mode still i am not connectable to torrents
so what i did is i changed to bridge mode and tested firewall now
its ok. So plz help me what i missed in alwayson mode. i am
attaching summary of ppoe mode. I request you to give complete details to change to alwayson mode in modem configuration. Why i want to change in alwayson mode because my bb connection is disconnecting frequently and i have to always go on to dial my connection again n again. Plz help me

As per attachment you are now connected in "Always On " mode.
The "NOTE" icon has to be clicked ,
when modem restarts again ,say after power failure.
I have the same problem and no idea how to solve this.
In "Bridged" this may not be necessary.
You have to connect externally via dialer .
See portforward.com for torrents PF instructions.
    Check with this tool .
DynDNS -- Support Tools -- Open Port Tool

Check your RJ11 connection contacts for blackening/corrosion/oxidization etc. Attn is high.

as mentioned by essbebe.. you need to portforward . this should help you with that Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: Portforwarding through Virtual Server in huawei SmartAX,netgear and dlink routers .. and about the disconnection..ensure that your telephone is connected after the splitter.. go to http://192.168.1.1 and under status post your SNR..
