Thread: Frequent Disconnection of Net

Hi..Mine is BSNL Home 500 c+ plan.I have a UT300R2U modem given by BSNL. I have a problem of frequent disconnection of net. It happens like Max at Day time. Whenever i'm using net it will lag for about 2 secs and the Internet light blinks rapidly for about 5 secs and goes off. Next when it comes back i have to redial for net.This happens like for every 3 or 4 min.Plz someone help me....

open your browser (preferably Internet Explorer).
Type 192.168.1.1
type admin in both user name and password.
Search for SNR values (like SNR Up/Down) and post the corresponding values here.

ensure that all your telephones are connected after splitter..

i too had the same problem, try changing your connection into bridge mode the model u mentioned (UT300R2U) its keeps pppoe as its default connection, changing the connection into bridge mode might fix the problem.

I tried it, and it smoothed out my connection. I still have some other problems, but maybe they are of a different origin.
